100% registered Katahdin sheep in Northwest Arkansas, bred for productive ewes, strong lamb growth, and parasite resistance. I maintain a small select ewe flock and use a high-quality outside ram each year to keep improving genetics.
The sheep live on pasture year-round, lamb on pasture, and are managed in a rotational grazing system. Clean, biosecurity-conscious flock. EBVs are balanced with hands-on selection for structural conformity, complete shedding, and breed character.
Seedstock comes from RMK, NWT, BC, USD, FAH, and other established Katahdin programs. NSIP records guide breeding decisions for maternal performance, growth, and parasite resistance. Several SYC ewes and the BC rams have been 50K genotyped.
I lambed late this year, all were born between 4/25 and 5/8, currently self-weaning. Individual listings and prices reflect genetics, production, structure, and management traits. NSIP estimates for young sheep available. Can provide a modest discount when purchasing multiple animals.
